What an amazing place to stay and great value for money. A lovely welcoming hamper given on arrival took the stress of a long journey. Brilliant location in a quiet village with some amazing local walks to do. The cottage has everything you need to be away from home with kids, we will definitely be back. The one downside is no blackout blinds or cuRead morertains in the bedrooms so as it's summer clocks the children woke up earlier than usual due to the sunrise. Hide

Perfect holiday cottage. Clean, comfortable and the owners seem to have thought of everything you might need away from home. Generous welcome pack of wine, juice, butter, bread, cake, tea coffee etc. Good position for touring Peak District and a bonus...very cool in a heat wave. One if the best we have stayed in.

Conveniently located terraced house. Stone's throw from 2 excellent pubs, just off the Peak Forest Tramway Trail (cycling route) and many walking routes start in the village. Comfy, clean and quiet. Had all amenities needed for a holiday in the Peaks. In theory could be base for a car-free holiday as walking distance from Chinley Station (Hope VallRead moreey Line). Hosts provided bread, eggs, milk, butter and cake which was much appreciated as we arrived too late in the evening to go to shop. Hide
