Set out on foot from this Georgian apartment to explore Keswick and its fantastic selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. This historic market town is also home to an Art Deco cinema, theatre, pencil museum, crazy golf, swimming pool and climbing wall, offering something for everyone. Beyond the town lies Derwentwater, where a regular launch service crosses the lake. Hop on and off to explore the various landing stages around the lake, including the waterfall at Lodore, the much photographed Ashness Bridge and the walled garden that inspired Beatrix Potter at Lingholm. For challenging climbs head for Skiddaw, 6 miles north, Blencathra, 6.5 miles east, or Dale Head, 10 miles south, or for local history visit Honister Slate Mine, 9.5 miles away, or Castlerigg Stone Circle, just 2 miles away.

With an electric fire, Freeview TV, DVD player and bluetooth speaker, this room has everything you need for a romantic night in. The king-size bedroom boasts a modern feature fireplace and quaint dressing table, while the bathroom with shower over the bath is the perfect place to enjoy a long soak after a tiring day.

A very cosy apartment, good location and good parking space. Impressed with the well equipped kitchen and utensils. Nice to have a shower mat, these little details made the stay. Also, plenty of storage space for all the walking gear. Liked it a lot, have booked again for next year

Spotlessly clean. Very well equipped - nice having a washer and a dryer, and both a bath and a shower. Spacious. Good parking and location. Our only gripe was that the fire alarm went off at 2 am one morning. From speaking to other occupants I gather that this is not the first time this has happened and there is a fault on the alarm. This needs to Read morebe fixed. Hide

Great location, well equipped, clean. It is partially below ground so lights are required quite a lot. The bed was really comfortable and larger than king-size. No aches and pains here.

The apartment has everything you could need to make it a cosy, quiet place after an active day in Keswick and the surrounding hills and lakes. The dedicated car parking space is a real asset when you compare it to the surrounding compacted street parking in the locality. We will certainly return here in the future.

Unfortunately the people using flat 6 were heavy footed on what I presume were wooden floors, quite obtrusive noise levels when the occupants were moving around the flat, especially first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Otherwise, a great stay.

A well equipped property in a central location in Keswick. A perfect base for walking and then for eating out in the evening. Some reviews have mentioned noise from the flats above and you can hear people above but we werent troubled in any way.
