A lovely cottage ideally situated for the western side of the Lake District and Wast Water. Good food at the local pub and also at the Woodlands and Sawmill cafes.

Lovely little cottage with amazing outlook of the hill to the rear. Top bedroom a little awkward if you are tall. Generally well equipped, but needs a hairdryer and iron (there is an ironing board, but no iron) very comfortable for 4 adults and our 2 furbabies! Close to local (very friendly) pub and 3 miles from local shop! Would definitely recommeRead morend. Hide

Potentially a nice cottage, but considerable updating is required in regard to the bathroom. The sanitary ware is old and needs replacing. The position is good as you're only a short drive to one or two nice pubs. Plenty of scenic walks nearby and if you're feeling brave, Scafell Pike is close by too!

The cottage was so charming and the views of the mountains from the garden were stunning. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of pots and pans. The beds were comfortable and the quality of the sheets were hotel standard. There is a record player on the landing which was broken, but my partner was able to require the speaker and get it woRead morerking so we really enioyed making use of that. We don't have pets so I was a bit conscious it was a pet friendly property but it wasnt too bad. Hide
