This fantastic house is the perfect family base for exploring Torbay on foot, with the South West Coast Path on your doorstep and some stunning beaches to venture to. Oddicombe Beach is a must-visit with its delightful shingle beach, unspoilt coastline and boasting some truly gorgeous views. The picturesque Torquay Harbour is also located nearby with an array of shops, cafes restaurants and bars. Many other opportunities for family fun days out are Babbacombe Model Village, Dartmouth Railway, Paignton Pier, Quay West and Paignton Zoo.

Step inside this wonderful property to find yourself in the light and airy hallway which leads to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner This spacious room has seating for all guests and benefits from the dual aspect windows, making it a great spot to socialise with the family, especially after a long day of exploring South Devon. Relaxing in front of the TV/DVD or let the kids play on the Nintendo Wii. Moving towards the back of the property brings you to the well-equipped kitchen which comprises an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a handy utility room located next door which features a washing machine, tumble dryer and separate sink. The garage is also accessed from this area which can be used to store your beach gear and also houses a freezer. Also on the ground floor and reached by the entrance hallway is a bathroom featuring a shower over the bath and WC. Moving upstairs brings you to the bedrooms, the first being the master double bedroom which has a TV and a lovely terrace area, perfect for sitting outside with a morning coffee. There is also a twin bedroom with a TV and a bedroom featuring two bunk beds to sleep four children. The first floor has a large bathroom which comprises a bath, separate shower and WC.

Stepping outside from the kitchen brings you to the wrap-around decked terrace garden, a brilliant space to sit in the sun with plenty of seating for all guests. It's also a great spot for your four-legged friends to stretch their legs. A gate from the garden leads to you the vast open space of Walls Hill and the coastal path and beaches. At the front of the property is parking for two cars.

a lovely house in a great location ,,ruined by appliances we paid to use either broken or filthy...and general cleanliness absent,,,dust on the rail bannister on the stairs and a light fitting in the utility room by the back door hanging loose with live wires visible ...all told to the housekeeper and as normal "promises,,promises but nothing done Read more...we HAD to eat out all week because oven needed a really good clean ..and no dishwasher to do the pots afterwards ,,and we paid GOOD money Hide

The holiday let was in a great location. Unfortunately a neighbour blocked our parking space of one of our cars. The house is large. The dishwasher was broken not replaced or repaired for our stay. The tv in second bedroom wouldnt work. The curtains in bedrooms were disgusting. The mattresses on the single beds were poor quality. And very dirty witRead moreh large stains on them. Lovely property with everything that you would need and more, books to read, games for the family to enjoy which are ideal for the evenings. Very spacious property that has a real homely feel, would highly recommend this property for your holiday stay

Cottage is in a perfect location for accessing Torbay, lovely and quiet as well, we have been using this cottage for at least 10 years now

A very nice, well equipped house in a good location. Near Babbacombe and Oddicombe beaches. Handy for bus stops too, if you want to go further afield.

Lovely property, felt homely and comfortable. Was very clean. Kitchen well equipped. Large enough so that we weren't on top of each other. Great situation - backs onto a field leading to a coastal path. Bus stop just around the corner. Had everything you might need for a great holiday. Books available to read, dvd player and dvds, WII game station Read moreand games. This property is the best we've ever stayed in. All 6 of us (3 generations) would highly recommend. Hide
