The immediate area offers excellent walking and biking routes with the stunning Glens of Isla, Clova and Prosen within easy reach. Loch Kinnordy, a wonderful RSPB reserve is also close at hand. Visit the nearby spectacular Reekie Linn Waterfall, or Glenshee Ski Centre offering extensive skiing, snowboarding and summer activities. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy an array of courses close at hand including the championship courses at Carnoustie and St Andrews. The historic towns of Alyth and Kirriemuir - the birthplace of J M Barrie and Bon Scott of ACDC - and the vibrant city of Dundee, are all within easy reach.

There is also direct access at the rear of the property out to the fully enclosed garden. Completing the accommodation is the stylish bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Venturing outside to the mature, fully enclosed wrap-around garden, there is a seating area for al fresco dining and lazy evenings stargazing, perhaps with a wee dram, a nice glass of wine or good local ale. There is ample private, enclosed parking available directly in front of the cottage.

The cottage was in an ideal position for seeing around the area, it was lovely and comfortable plus well equipped for all ours needs , and the three dogs enjoyed the garden too.

The cottage is comfortable, homely and very well equipped. The garden is securely fenced .. safe for children and dogs. We saw so many beautiful birds in the garden and the walks from the cottage were delightful. A wonderful place for a relaxing holiday. Thank you

Lovely place to stay. Very quiet. Cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Garden perfect for letting the dogs run without worrying about the roads. The sofa swallows you as you sit down. Very comfortable.

Comfortable homely cottage, ideal for dogs with a proper secure enclosed garden. Lovely quiet location. Plenty of wild life. Enjoyable local walks round lochs, up hills, viewing monuments and castles. Handy cafe in walking distant from cottage. A pleasant week.

We felt at home in the cottage as soon as we walked through the door. Comfy sofa and beds. Piping hot, powerful showers. Every utensil you could need and little things you may have forgotten e.g. umbrella. It was a pleasure to come back "home" after each day's adventure.

What a wonderful, will equipped and clean cottage this is. We had a wonderful week stay with our 3 beagles. A perfect base for the Cairgorms with natural beauty on your doorstep with Lintrathen Loch just a 5 minute steady walk away. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for a home cooked meal after a good walk!

EVERYONE ENJOYED THEIR HOLIDAY VERY MUCH. Wish we could have stayed for longer. Everything provided in the house, like a home from home. Lovely location. The dogs totally loved the enclosed garden. Neighbours very friendly. Peaceful, relaxing and homely, we will be back again next year. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay in the house and the peace and quiet of the area. The house had everything that you needed for a stay. and was spotlessly clean. Good clean well equiped cottage in a good location for mountains, sea and towns. An older property with ongoing updating and improvements reasonably well maintained. Fantastic cottage in a peaceful location. The cottage was lovely and clean, including all of the kitchenware, which can be a rare thing. It felt very homely from the moment we arrived. Lots of different things to do and see all within an hour. Would highly recommend.

If you want to spend some very quiet time, with dark skies and quiet roads in a beautiful hamlet, this is the place for you. A well equipped and homely cottage, with loads of space for us all. Garden visitors included a woodpecker and a yellow hammer, countless sparrows, blackbirds, finches, swallows, bats, froglets, the occasional muntjac deer (I Read moredont know who was more surprised on one occasion - me or her!). A great location near Glamis Castle, and good driving routes to the Cairngorms. Hide

The cottage was great, loads of space for us all and the kitchen area was the central hub, we had great times dining and enjoying board games, Kali our Golden Retriever loved the enclosed garden as she done many laps during our stay, We all had a fabulous time.

Great peaceful location, cottage has plenty of things like crockery, glasses etc. Plenty of space indoors and out. New garden furniture if you are lucky enough with the weather. Secure garden for the dog. Take or get some bird food, you won't regret it, Woodpecker, yellow hammer, blue, great & coal tits, chaffinches to name but a few. The Cottage is just lovely, everything you could possibly ask for. It was so peaceful, quiet and the birds, were so amazing, just beautiful. Really did enjoy our stay.
