This apartment is well equipped with a homely feel and is a great place for a family or friends to stay with super views of the harbour and across the Solway towards Scotland. Local amenities on your doorstep include the Aquarium with its Café, Crazy Golf and Children’s play area. The Maryport Maritime Museum is a short stroll away and the Senhouse Roman Museum on the edge of town is also an interesting day out. This property offers walkers easy access to the England Coastal Path (Allonby to Whitehaven section) and the nearby promenade, whilst golfers are catered for by the 18-hole course of the Maryport Golf Club which is located just a short drive away nestled on the coastline between the Solway Firth and the Cumbrian Fells. The unspoilt Solway Coast stretching east of Maryport has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) and is home to many species of wading birds making this area a popular destination for bird watchers. The bustling market town of Cockermouth and the Lake District National Park are both just a short drive away.

The apartment is situated on the first floor up a short flight of stairs. The entrance and lobby are all via the secure entrance. As you enter the property into the hallway, you will find the spacious lounge with views over the Harbour and on a clear day across to Scotland. There is comfortable seating, a Smart TV/DVD and DAB radio. It is a nice, relaxed space to spend time after a day out exploring the local area. There is a dining area in the lounge just in front of the kitchen entrance which is a great place to enjoy breakfast and plan the day ahead. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Down the hallway, you will find the bathroom which has a bath, separate shower and WC. There are two bedrooms, a bright and spacious kingsize bedroom overlooking the harbour and a twin bedroom across the hall.

There is a private parking space in the car park for one car. There is additional street parking close to the property for any additional cars.

Absolutely beautiful views from this holiday accommodation, overlooking the harbour, watching the tide go in and out, would thoroughly recommend. Upon arrival it was lovely and clean and everything you need to make it feel like home. Lovely apartment and view of the harbour .was comfortable and warm and loved the electric fire .nice complimentary coffee tea etc and everything we needed for a lovely holiday. There were several nice places to eat nearby and enjoyed the aquarium

Just returned from a great fortnight in Maryport. The apartment was lovely and comfortable and a perfect base for exploring the local area. The welcome pack and bottle of fresh milk were much appreciated after the drive to get there. The Lakes are of course beautiful and easily accessible, Cockermouth is good for a potter around more artisan shops Read moreand a drive up to Silloth is recommended. Maryport itself is not particularly touristy but the aquarium is well worth a visit. Hide

Lovely apartment, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The views over the harbour and the marina towards Scotland are glorious. Several gentle walks straight from the front door but, if there are mobility issues, please be aware that there are steps up to the building as well as the flight of stairs up to the first floor apartment. A fantastic apartment on the harbour front, overlooking numerous fishing vessels. Beautifully decorated and kept spotlessly clean. Nothing was needed and everything catered for, with information , books, dvd,s and cd,s all provided. The apartment was one of the best we have stayed in. The standard of cleanliness was high and the equipment provided was all that we needed. The location, right on the harbour front was wonderful and close enough to all the shops, restaurants, cafes etc and local attractions, like the aquarium and Roman museum, to allow visitors to walk there in miRead morenutes. Lovely, well equipped apartment in a quiet location. Great for exploring the local area. The sunsets over the harbour were amazing. Good selection of places to eat nearby with friendly staff and good value for money. We would highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay ideally placed away from the hustle bustle of the big lakes tourist towns. Loads of walks suitable for everyone and all capabilities

As soon as we arrived we just felt really at home and relaxed in this beautiful apartment. Very tastefully decorated with lots of bright seaside colours. A lovely view of the boats from the comfortable living room window.Being close to the Lake district was great as well.
