Tucked away at the end of a private lane this former Mill has been renovated to a high standard and is surrounded by the owner’s garden and land. The setting is tranquil although only one and a half miles away there is a pub and shop. The harbour town of Mevagissey and Charlestown are within easy reach and are lovely places to while away an afternoon, wandering narrow streets, watching the fishing boats come in and trying out one of the harbour-side restaurants. Take a trip to the cathedral City of Truro where you can enjoy an abundance of shops and restaurants. Fowey, another well-known harbour town is great for a day out. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are also very close by, as is the Eden Project with its vast array of plants and flowers and forestry to explore. Or why not take a day trip and explore what the North Cornish Coast has to offer.

Step inside this former Mill oozing with character and history into the entrance hall and hang up your coats. From here the open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner has vaulted ceilings and superb views across the owner’s land across fields, stream and woodland. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven, two ring electric hob, electric Raeburn, microwave, washing machine and fridge with ice compartment to create a feast for all the family. Enjoy morning coffee at the breakfast bar or lunch in the dining area at the table whilst admiring your tranquil surroundings. Alternatively, relax on the sofa or arm chairs and watch your favourite programmes on the Smart TV which includes Netflix. From the entrance hall, head to the spacious double bedroom with TV exposed beams, wardrobe and vanity area along with an en-suite shower room with WC to prepare for your day ahead. There is also a separate WC on this floor. Head down to the lower ground floor to the twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request), again with wardrobe and vanity area. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. Completing the downstairs is a spacious second lounge with lovely French doors out onto the patio, complete with a sofa and TV/DVD, perfect for children to watch films, or read your favourite book. There’s also a desk so get planning your day ahead! Doors open up onto the terrace and an abundance of wildlife from your doorstep.

Outside you’ll find a walled garden terrace with seating and dining table, perfect for alfresco dining. Surrounded by farmland, the views are fabulous. We have been staying at Spring Farm (Bay Tree Farmhouse and the Corn Mill) for the last 20 years, and intend to keep coming back! Both the farmhouse and the smaller Corn Mill are very comfortable, and ideally placed to visit all our favourite places in the county, including a number of National Trust properties.
