We thought everything about this cottage was on the button, hence the 5 stars. Private parking outside the door, nice garden for the dog, lovely rural spot and central to a lovely part of the borders. We particularly enjoyed the wood burner, Karen's attention to detail and very friendly approach was the icing on the cake.

We stayed for 7 nights at Greenknowe Cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For 2 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs we found everything to be superbly suited for us. Karen our host couldn't be more helpful in explaining details about all things local which was fantastic. The location could be better as we had outings to Melrose, St Boswells, Kelso, JRead moreedburgh and Denholm and it felt like we were at these places in no time. Only gripe is we didn't know about this place sooner ! Hide

We had a wonderful week at Greenknowe Cottage in February. It was the perfect base for walking, golfing or exploring the nearby towns and the fire and hot tub made for cosy evenings in a way we thought made it even more special than a summer break might have been.
