This charming country holiday home located in the quiet village of Honing is the ideal base in which to explore the Norfolk coast and countryside, great for dog walking. Happisburgh which has an iconic lighthouse is within easy reach, whilst Bacton and Mundesley both have lovely sandy beaches looking out to the North Sea and English Channel. For a traditional seaside resort visit Cromer which has plenty of family fun on offer including its very own theatre on the pier head. The Norfolk Broads are on your doorstep and offer a fantastic day out where you can hire a boat for the day and explore the stunning waterways. The beautiful National trust sites of Felbrigg and Blickling Hall are well worth a visit and are just a short drive away.

As you enter this charming cottage, you arrive in a cosy lounge area which features a two seater sofa and three chairs, there is also a round table with four chairs. A small Smart TV and wood burner providing the perfect place to unwind after a busy day out (your first evening log supply will be on the hearth). The lounge area leads through to the kitchen where you will find an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Also on the ground floor is a shower room with shower, basin and WC. Upstairs on the first floor you have the choice of three small double bedrooms, and the second shower, basin and WC. Please note the steep, narrow spiral staircase is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Access to the garden area is located off from the kitchen and guests can enjoy some al fresco dining outside with the table and chairs provided whilst looking out onto the cottage garden. Unfortunately not suitable for children under 7 due to wildlife pond in the garden.

Cottage was very comfortable. Staircase is suitable for mobile people but maybe an issue for any disability. Location was lovely and garden was great especially if you have a dog.

Extremely dog friendly, lovely garden, remote location make sure to bring essentials! Stairs are very steep/shallow so mind your head! Very close to the broads we had a lovely week.

The area has a lot to do. Seaside with seals, sandy beaches. The broads we took the steam railway from wroxham up to Buxton and then canoed back down.
