This reverse-level property lovingly converted from an old barn offers contemporary and stylish accommodation throughout. Close to North Cornwall's beaches, coastal walks, and towns, this is the ideal holiday home to explore the local area. Slightly further afield are the rugged cliffs of Hartland, Clovelly, and Crackington Haven. There are attractions for all the family in the area, including The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, The Tamar Otter Park, King Arthur's Tintagel and National Trust properties. The nearby town of Bude offers a leisure centre, swimming pool, tennis courts, numerous shops, galleries and a selection of restaurants and pubs. Fishing and boating are available on the Tamar and Roadford Lakes.

As you enter the property on the ground floor the hallway leads to the three king-size bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. There is also a bathroom on this level with a shower over the bath and WC. Next to the front door is a handy utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and storage space for beachwear and walking boots. Stairs lead up to the impressive double height open-plan lounge/diner and kitchen. There is plenty of space to relax in the lounge which has a Smart TV and DVD player. The dining area seats all six guests and is the ideal place to sit and enjoy family meals together. The kitchen has all you need to cater for your stay including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a kitchen island for extra space to prepare meals. There is a separate WC on this level as well as a door with stairs leading to the private garden.

Outside there is a large enclosed garden, a great spot for a BBQ in the warmer months or to spend time with the children playing games. To the rear of the property there is also a smaller courtyard area, the perfect spot to sit and soak up the sun. The property provides ample off-road parking.

Dovecote is an absolutely beautiful holiday home which catered for all our needs, including our dog Arlo. The location is perfect for visiting all the lovely areas of North Cornwall. We enjoyed spending time in the garden. A well thought out holiday home. We definitely plan to return one day.

This is one of the best properties we have stayed in our 20 years of visiting different places in the Uk - it was absolutely fabulous! So well equipped and appointed. We just loved the safe garden where we could relax with our dogs after a busy day exploring the area - perfect!

Lovely property. Great location with some lovely views and close enough to Bude for regular trips to the shops! The inside of the property is done really well, with everything you could need and more. We will certainly be back when the weather is warmer!

The cottage was a delight to stay in, super quiet location but easy enough to get to the A39 and beyond. The facilities were the best I've ever had, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The only negative comment we had was with the level of comfort afforded by the 2 two seater sofa's which sadly were quite uncomfortRead moreable for the long dark evenings in November, thankfully there were other chairs we could use. Dovecote Barn is a perfect retreat. The owners have equipped it with absolutely everything and the furnishings are beautiful. The barn is in the most convenient of locations and the garden and outdoor seating area has everything. It really has been developed thoughtfully. It was like home from home. Our stay in Dovecote barn was wonderful. The barn was a beautiful place to stay and very well equipped. Nothing else needed at all. Everything was lovely and tastefully furnished. Outside eating area, barbecue ,fire pit, garden recliners were well used.
