We enjoyed a great weekend at the cottage; our family party comprised my son, daughter in law, two small granddaughters and myself. The layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms suited our needs very well, as did the options on the ground floor for us to have separate space. The location in Hartington was excellent and we enjoyed several walks without nRead moreeeding to use our cars. The village shops and pubs are convenient. There is a regular bus service linking Buxton and Ashbourne passing by the house. Hide

Location for walking second to none and plenty of availability of essentials to negate the need for a car during your stay. South facing garden a boon at the end of a long day.

We had a weekend in the cottage as 4 adults, 2 children. The cottage was just as attractive as it looks online. Room for 2 cars to park but road parking also safe. All amenities exactly as promised.
