Nestling on the outskirts of this traditional Devon village you will be under 0.25 miles of the village amenities and just a short drive from the coast. The area is famed for its spectacular beaches, including Westward Ho! which is a favourite among bodyboarders and surfers, offering two miles of golden sands to enjoy. Also close by are the picturesque coves and the quaint fishing villages of Clovelly, Instow and Appledore. Alternatively, head down the A39 and into Cornwall where you will find Bude offering a choice of beautiful beaches. Walkers are also well catered for with the South West Coast Path, Tarka Trail, Dartmoor and Exmoor, all within each reach.

Step inside this stunning property and you will firstly find yourself in the light and airy lounge which boasts a Smart TV, double-height vaulted ceiling and exposed brickwork and beams, large feature windows and a beautiful flagstone floor - the perfect place to relax after a day exploring. Due to the reverse level arrangement of the property, the rest of the ground floor comprises the beautifully appointed bedroom with king-size bed and an en-suite shower and WC. Doors from the bedroom lead out onto the patio area. Heading up the spiral stairs and onto the first floor, you will enter the light and open-plan kitchen/diner located on a mezzanine level above the lounge. This characterful space includes a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and Velux windows with lovely views of the countryside and the stars at night, whilst the kitchen area itself is brilliantly appointed with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, coffee machine,dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is an island which houses the oven and hob and dining area by the window.

Outside, accessed via both the lounge and the bedroom, the private enclosed patio area features a hot tub and garden furniture for your relaxation and enjoyment. This lovely sheltered spot is the perfect place to dine alfresco in warm weather, or enjoy a leisurely dip in the tub at any time of year or relax around the fire pit. Guests can also enjoy the adjacent private paddock with stunning countryside views, this is the ideal spot to play games with your four-legged friend. Private off-road parking for two cars is provided directly outside.

Absolutely perfect stay at the Stargazey barn. We were blown away as soon as we saw walked through the front door. Well equipped, immaculate property. The hot tub is an added bonus after a day exploring. Highly recommend a stay at this barn

We and our dogs throughly enjoyed our stay at the amazing Stargazy Barn. We all loved the cottage and its location making it easy to travel to different places including nearby beaches and villages. Each year the property continues to evolve, I thought it was great before but the new bathroom and bedroom furniture are lovely. A great location and an extremely well presented property, perfect to explore the North Devon coast. I will look forward to visiting again.

Fantastically well equipped and comfortable property. Really well thought out in terms of extras (blankets for sofas, local info, placement of mirrors etc). Kitchen had everything we needed and more although the wine fridge was really loud and could be heard in the bedroom below. The spiral staircase is lovely but not always practical. Our little dRead moreogs couldnt get up it so they had to be carried up the stairs! Buckland Brewer is really remote and access to the main road was precarious at times! Hide

Loved our week in this property set just outside lovely village. Local pub fab and very friendly but be aware pub closed on a Monday and Tuesday .local playing field great for the dog . Short drive to most local attractions . Bedroom small and lack of storage but otherwise everything you will need is there. We made most of the hot tub too! .

We had a really enjoyable stay very relaxing.13th century local pub with good food and beer.Enjoyed the evenings in the hot tub watching the bats fly overhead at dusk.Our two jack Russell's made friends with the chickens next door.Would highly recommend a visit.

Stargazey barn is lovely and comfortable especially if you want peace and quiet.Beaches are only a 40 to 45 min drive from here making it great to visit them

We had a lovely relaxing holiday, the converting barn was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The hot tube was great , especially after our long days exploring the beaches and countryside. Great for our two dogs, an excercise area and a separate private hot tube area.
