The area is lovely and the house is spacious but it is being let down by ageing fittings and its position makes it quite noisy especially in the morning as the road is very close at the front. The kitchen cooker is not working properly and the hot tub is a bit dated and in need of repair. Also the bath and shower in the main bathroom both leak.

Belford is a central place to stay for exploring. There is a local coop with late opening hours which is handy. Disappointed by the local farm shop but the well house coffee shop was lovely. We notified the owner that the left side of the oven was not working and neither were 2 out of 5 rings on the hob - the owner come back to us eventually and was aware already. No attempts to fix . dishwasher worked intermittently- had to keep powering it off at the mains to reset it . The fridge had numerous shelves missing . The cottage was clean and comfortable. Although a phone call the night before our stay suggested a cottage "nuance" of not all the cooker hobs working, we struggled to get one hob working on the first night, which meant we ate very late that night. The suggestion by the owner of going to the closed chip shop instead was not particularly helpful. HoRead morepefully they have got the cooker working for future guests now. Hide

Great property - bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Everything very clean and tidy. Pub only 3 minutes walk away. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here. Great location - 2 pubs, a coop & chippy all within a 2 min walk, & less than 20 minutes from great beaches. Fab communication with the host, who was v friendly & gave us some great spots to explore that are locals faves - nice & quiet with plenty of space for the dog to roam. The house was tidy & spacious. A couple of reRead morepairs/upgrades are needed in the kitchen/bathroom but nothing that you can not deal with. We did not use the hottub as it was not as private as expected. Hide

This is a three story house with loads of room. It's situated in a lovely village. First impressions were that it was well looked after. However, we found some cleanliness issues, which we have highlighted to the owners through this platform. Hot tub great, but looking a bit tired. That aside, it was comfortable.
