This elegant Georgian home was built as a farmhouse. It has large, bright rooms, thoughtful décor and furnishings and fantastic views over the countryside. The house has access to some of the best salmon fishing on the Tay, which can be arranged via the owners. Sleeping 14 over seven bedrooms, it can be booked with Farleyer Steading, just behind the main house, which has another two bedrooms and its own living and kitchen space. Apart from fishing, the area is fantastic for walking in the hills and forests, and there is canoeing and rafting on nearby rivers. The town of Aberfeldy, 4 miles away, has some great pubs and shops.

Inside, you'll find spacious rooms throughout and lots of light through the large windows. There is a large, comfortable living/dining room with a wood burner and a second living room with an open fire. There is also a cosy study. The kitchen/diner has an Aga, fridge/freezer and separate wine cooler, dishwasher and microwave. There is a separate laundry and drying room with a washing machine. On the first floor are three super king-size bedrooms, all with en-suites. There is also a twin room, a double room and a family bathroom. Leading up the steps Into the steading, there is a bright and airy open-plan living and kitchen space, and two en-suite twin bedrooms.

Outside, there is a large mature garden with lawns and fantastic views over the Tay Valley beyond. There is a gas BBQ and outdoor furniture for al fresco dining and relaxation. There is ample parking on the driveway.

  • 7 bedrooms – 3 super king-size, 1 double, 3 twins,  2 of the twin bedrooms are located on the ground floor of the steading
  • 6 bathrooms - 4 en-suite shower rooms, 1 en-suite bathroom with separate shower and 1 bathroom with shower over the bath, plus 1 WC

  • 2 TVs with Sky package in public rooms, and another 7 TVs in the bedrooms

  • Dogs are restricted to kitchen/dining area, back hall and laundry room within The Old Manse
  • Guests should be aware there are steps leading up to the steading and unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users
  • Short Breaks are available through January, February and November

  • Arrival: 16:30 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £60. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Fantastic holiday staying at the Old Manse. We had all ages from 6month to 89 and everyone throughly enjoyed themselves.

A great location, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The Old Manse is spacious and has a well equipped kitchen. The Steading has comfortable beds, but the bedrooms are at either side of the building with only outdoor lockable entrances. There are good walks nearby eg along the river.

Was absolutely perfect, all 14 of us loved it! Views are wonderful, the house is extremely well equipped and provided for and the rooms were all very comfortable. Everyone was in love with it. Totally recommended!

We had a great week at The Manse. Both the main house and The Steading were very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Beds were comfy and the showers excellent! Wonderful views from both properties. Brilliant location for the mountains and local towns/villages.
