A beautiful house and location, let down by poor maintenance and in need of a deep clean. Key box is badly corroded and difficult to open, we were stuck outside for an hour trying to get in. No reply from the local contact tel number. Notices of 'do not adjust heating' totally inappropriate on the Isle of Skye in October, we were cold in the house Read morewhen the heating was off all day. Despite this we enjoyed our stay in what could be a five star house with a bit of attention and care. Hide

We stayed in The Old Manse for our wedding week with our closest family. The home was well equipped with washing machine, dish washer and all you could ask for in the kitchen (French press for coffee) as well as plenty of bathrooms/showers. The location was excellent for accessing sights on the northern part of the Isle like Neist Point and The QuiRead moreraing. Dunvegan was close for the general store and lovely restaurants (recommend The Dunvegan Restaurant for a five course menu). Enjoy! Hide

Beautiful spacious house. Comfortable beds, a good amount of bath rooms, well equipped kitchen. Enclosed garden with benches for sitting in with mature trees and (when we visited) bluebells. Location is good as well there is a little walk down to a small beach (left from the house along the road) or if you walk the other way you get to the general Read morestore, a cafe and community centre (that has a playground). Within close driving distance to Neist point, Dunvegan and the coral beach. Hide

The house was perfect for our family get to together (4 adults 2 children) The area is outstanding and if you enjoy your wildlife staying here enables you to see sea eagles, seals and we were lucky to catch the northern lights. There is a great cafe and store within walking distance and a short drive away is aRead more larger village where we had amazing fish and chips. Would fully recommend staying here for a perfect get away Hide

Large cottage, rural location. Driveway is steep. Well equipped but could do with a deep clean. Loads of hot water and really good heating system. Garden is not secure for dogs.
