This is a working farm. Some of the farm buildings have been made into cosy accommodation. There is a log fire for chilly days and a snazzy wet room cum bathroom combo. The Bothy enjoys magnificent views of the Firth of Clyde and Peter our host was kindness itself. If you like dogs this is Pooch Paradise. The location and the hosts really made our stay. As a working farm there was a lot going on, the dogs were adorable as was the wildlife on the farm - bats, birds, squirrels as well as the farm animals. The farm goes down to the beach, and felt like a ready-made destination so we didn't always have to go in search of places to visit. We will definitely be returning to the Bothy as Peter and Nicky were so friendly and welcoming and we felt really at home on the farm. The farm dogs were great, always pleased to see us and ready to go down to the shore with us. The produce from the farm - meat, eggs and veg - were absolutely delicious. A truly wonderful place.
