Stayed for a week at The Captains House and it was excellent. Property was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Views were fantastic from all windows of the property. Saddest thing was having to leave.

A stay at Captains House is a treasure. The people. The view. The home and history there. The decor and charm are all part of that. I hope to go again soon, and I think that says it all. :)

The Captains House is a lovely house in a fantastic position, very comfortable indeed. However the Wi-Fi was intermittent and it would be a good idea to take a pack of cards and a couple of games for inclement weather. Make sure you visit Annies Bakery just above Gills Bay!

Extremely satisfying from both a practical and aesthetic point of view. Large and welRead morel-distributed spaces, as well as clean, bright and elegant. All appliances working. The comfortable rooms and the bathrooms in perfect condition. The captain's house is located in a strategic position, secluded but not isolated, well connected to both the main road and the sea, the cliffs and many activities. It is possible to see the Northern Lights from the garden. It alone would be worth a holiday. Hide

The house was lovely and very comfortable, apart from being too hot, during the very sunny and warm week. The conservatory is a wonderful asset to the house with its superb sea views.

House was beyond delightful and clearly had a lot of thought and interior design knowledge behind the decoration. And the views of the Pentland Firth were simply stunning, even on a gloomy day. The location is quiet and well placed to discover the delights of the whole area.
