As soon as we walked in the front door it felt warm and welcoming. The cottage is well equipped, the kitchen having everything we needed. The cosy sitting room has an inset wood burning stove which we were glad of on chilly October evenings. The beds are comfortable and having a bathroom and shower room is a bonus. It's a comfortable base for outdoRead moreor activities. The cottage is in an area of great natural beauty and historical interest, with the spectacular Plodda Falls just 3.5miles away. Hide

Swallow Cottage was absolutely lovely! The cottage was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Tomich was a great location as a base for munro bagging in Glen Affric, Kintail and beyond. There are delightful local walks too. Also, the local pub and cafe are welcome options to have available so nearby. We had a wonderful holiday!

Fantastic 2 weeks, even the weather was great. The cottage was lovely and well equiped. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There's plenty of places to walk but make sure you stock up on food as the pub meals were expensive but not worth the cost.

Loved this cottage. Lovely location and plenty of walks from the door or a short drive. It's nice having the hotel and bar across the road as you can enjoy a drink or a meal and meet different people. Lovely conservation village and very interesting history of the estate. Would definitely go back to walk more of the tracks that we missed.

We love the area and the cottage was perfect for us. We ate in most night as it is more remote but that suits us. Warm and comfortable

The windows don't shut properly, as one of the nights we were there was windy and very cold, we hardly could get it warm inside. As for the rest: it's a lovely house.

Really great cottage with everything that you need. The location was great and made a good base for exploring. The kitchen had everything that we needed and all modern. The main bedroom was lovely and so were the other rooms. If you are tall (over 6ft) you might struggle upstairs. Overall it was a great stay. Note: there is no phone signal but greaRead moret wifi. Make sure you also have a food delivery for when you arrive. Hide

The cottage is great and well equipped and it is really comfortable. Great walks. Sad to see the cafe has closed and the hotel is ordinary without charging ordinary prices. Please take your own wine and food otherwise if you eat out it is both disappointing and irrationally expensive.
