The cottage is a delight. Excellently appointed and a calm peaceful place. We particularly appreciated the welcome pack, the flowers, the hot tub, the outdoor table and chairs and the barbecue. Watching deer and hares in the field was a further enjoyment. Fabulous stay in a gorgeous location. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing the games provided. There were also lots of interesting places to visit which weren't too far away.

Scotstonhill is an amazing property for a week away in the middle of nowhere. It has all the facilities you could want, including outside plugs for (very slow) car charging and more rooms than you could need. The owners are always on hand should you need them, and had an electrician out within 30 minutes when the power went out due to a storm. Be aRead moreware you'll need a car to go anywhere - there's no shops in walking distance. Apart from that the location is blissfully quiet. Highly recommended. Hide
