A distinguished, large home, the lodge sits on the edge of the Bruchaig River. All around is stunning countryside where you'll find red deer on the hills, pine martin in the woods, salmon in the river and eagles flying above. There are rocky peaks, dense forests and fast-flowing rivers to explore, with local fishing available. The house has lots of space for formal and casual socialising and plenty of room to get some peace. The local village pub and shop are half a mile away.
Stepping inside, you'll find high ceilings and elegant furnishings throughout. In the large drawing room, there are many comfortable sofas and armchairs to choose from, an open fire and large windows that fill the room with light, where sunset watching is highly recommended. There is also a smaller less formal sitting room. The games room is equipped with a billiard table, and the music room with a grand piano. In the atmospheric dining room, you'll find space for everyone to gather around the long, dark-wood table. The kitchen has a range cooker, as well as electric cookers, fridges and freezers with enough space to store food and cook for large parties. There is a separate laundry room with washers and dryers. Also on the ground floor you will find a bar area, 1 shower room and 3 WC's. There are 15 bedrooms made up of 1 king, 1 king zip and link, 3 double rooms, 1 single room and 9 twin rooms, five on the first floor, four in the attic room, all traditionally furnished. There are also four bathrooms, all on the first floor.
Outside, there are extensive grounds with large lawns and trees. There is ample parking.
