This delightful property was once a shepherd's cottage, shielding them from the harsh wilderness. Sympathetically converted to retain original features, its now been designed to let the wilderness back in. The setting in which the cottage sits is breathtaking and what we all imagine when we think of a wild Scottish retreat. The endless enchanting views of mountain ranges, forests and lochs that encapsulate the cottage will leave you speechless and full of admiration for its natural beauty. Situated on a working farm, the cottage provides privacy and seclusion and is an ideal base to explore beautiful Highland Perthshire. There are so many beautiful sites traditional to the Highlands that you can discover, right from your front door.

The cottage is situated over two floors and its design welcomes you with a warm and personal greeting. On the ground floor is the spacious sitting room with exposed beams and an open fire that leads through to the garden room with French doors opening out onto the patio. The lounge/dining room is again spacious with a wood burner leading to the separate fitted kitchen with an integrated fridge/freezer and double electric oven and separate hob. The utility room has a microwave, washing machine and a tumble dryer and is the perfect place for storing muddy boots! The bunk bedroom is also located on this floor. On the first-floor is one king size bedroom, one twin bedroom and the bathroom with shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, the property offers endless uninterrupted views. By day, the rolling Highland hills, lochs and forests and by night, crystal clear Dark Skies for star gazing. The enclosed garden with patio, seating and BBQ overlooks miles of glorious countryside and makes you realise that you really are blessed to be in one of the most picturesque of settings.

If you are looking for "off the beaten track" or similar, this may well be the cottage for you! A stunning location, about an hour from Pitlochry, with a short drive up a private track to reach the cottage. Everything you need is on hand, lots of space inside and out to enjoy. The nearby house is far enough away to elicit privacy and there are bareRead morely any other humans in sight. The only sounds are of water burbling in a nearby stream and the wildlife. Truly stunning. Hide
