This stunning townhouse with many original features has been tastefully styled with a combination of antique and modern furniture to reflect the owner’s family business. From here you can head to James St for a mix of both traditional independent and national shopping or take a stroll around Harrogate’s pedestrian walkways and the 200 acre Stray parkland surrounding the town centre. The Cold Bath Road area has a mix of restaurants, and shops and is near to the wonderful Valley Gardens with mature gardens to wander around, have afternoon tea or morning coffee in the Magnesia Well café or play a game of tennis or crazy golf. Venture further afield to Ripley Castle, Pateley Bridge and Fountains Abbey and the cities of York and Leeds.

Enter via the original stone floored hallway and through to the stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The cosy lounge area has a TV/DVD and is perfect for relaxing after a day sightseeing around Yorkshire or exhibiting at the Convention Centre. The beautiful bespoke well-equipped kitchen area includes electric oven and hob, fridge, and counter top freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The dining area comfortably seats 7 and is a great place to sit and plan your next day’s adventure or play a boardgame after dinner. Upstairs on the first floor there is a king-size bedroom with front views and a lovely single bedroom. On this floor is a spacious family bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower and WC. Head upstairs to the second-floor where there is a  super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made in to a twin on request) and a further double room, to finish off the accommodation there is a gorgeous fully tiled shower room with shower and WC.

Venturing outside, through the kitchen door is your own enclosed patio garden where you can enjoy the all day  sunshine. Parking is on street with no restrictions.

A great base for exploring Harrogate. Not far to conference centre and town centre. Perfect for the park, which the kids loved. Lots to see and do all week. House was comfortable and we'd definitely stay again.

This was a beautifully appointed house, which was warm and welcoming. It was located in a lovely part of Harrogate, on a quiet street, yet with shops, parks, and restaurants nearby. The centre of town was within easy walking distance too. Three generations of our family stayed here, and the open-plan nature of the ground floor suited us perfectly. The property is exactly as described and is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is very convenient for the town centre and there was ample on street car parking. We all enjoyed our stay very much.

Situated in lovely neighbourhood close to a park shops and restaurants and an easy walk into Harrogate. Property very comfortable an and lovely decor with attention to detail. Stayed with my partner, two teenage girls and dog and we all have great time.

A very good location, walking distance to shops, everything that you might need was provided. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean. Great communication from the owner. There's not much else you could ask for a holiday house! Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous place! Within 10/15 minutes walk of everywhere you want to go in Harrogate. Beds & pillows were super comfy and kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Would definitely recommend Sunday lunch at the Fat Badger, massive portions and beautifully tender meat. We also went to the Turkish Baths which we all thoughly enjoyed. we took theRead more train to York for the day but I think Harrogate has a better selection of shops & restaurants than York, more independants rather than chains. We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfectly located and only a 10 to 15 walk into Harrogate. The house was well equipped and the beds extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely house in a great location. Warm & comfortable in the cold weather. The kitchen is well equipped though the dishwasher and fridge are small for a large party & there is no separate freezer. We had a glitch during our stay but communications with the owner were swift & faultless & the issue was resolved the same day .

This is a lovely cottage, in a quiet road but only a short walk from the town centre and the park. Warm and comfortable and everything worked.

Excellent location for Valley Gardens and only short walk to town. Very helpful and communicative owner. Great size property for getting family together during half term. Good offer too from RHS Harlow Carr linked to the booking.

We had a great week and really enjoyed the house which was perfect for our needs :: our thanks to the owners for equipping it with such style and comfort. Proximity to local shops and Valley Gardens was a bonus. For garden lovers the RHS Harlow Carr garden is only a mile or so away via a woodland path. Great location, ten minutes from the centre of Harrogate, with cafes & restaurants nearby. Also two minutes from Valley Park with plenty of play facilities for children & walks for dogs. Beds comfortable, bathrooms good & all the equipment needed for a self catering holiday.
