This lovely property is ideal for visiting the famous Great Yorkshire Show. Nearby are the vibrant market towns of Harrogate and Knaresborough, which offer plenty of fantastic pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops, as well as a host of great attractions including the Waterside, the historic Knaresborough Castle, Mother Shiptons Cave, the Valley Gardens, the Stray, Harlow Carr RHS Gardens, Harrogate Theatre, the Turkish Baths and the Royal Pump Room Museum. Starbeck railway station is 0.4 miles away.  There are plenty of wonderful walks nearby including the Nidd Gorge and the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or you could visit Harewood House, Ripley Castle or Brimham Rocks. Popular towns and cities including York, Skipton, Ilkley, Thirsk and Ripon are all easily accessible.

This lovely ground-floor property nestles next to the owners property, which was built on the site of an old orchard, so enjoys lovely gardens. From the car parking area there is easy level access to the front door. The entrance hallway leads you through to the spacious and beautifully light open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With On demand TV, Dab Bluetooth radio/CD player,  and plenty of comfy seating, the welcoming and airy lounge is an ideal space for relaxing in. The double sofa bed allows for two younger members of a family  to stay. You will also find a charming dining area as well as a handy breakfast bar. Heading over to the kitchen you will find it fully equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer,  dish washer , washing machine and tumble dryer. Exploring this lovely apartment further you will find a large attractive bedroom with a king-size bed and plenty of storage space. Theres also an en-suite shower room complete with a walk-in shower and WC.

Patio doors lead you out into a charming private patio area with outside furniture where you can sit back and dine alfresco. Theres also a shared grassy area which is ideal for picnics. Off-road parking is available for one car, and on-street parking may also be available.

Everything was excellent about the Lodge. It was immaculate and top class furnishings and equipment. There was everything you could think of and nice to have own private garden to sit in.

Good position for exploring the area by car or public transport with the bus and train within handy reach. Very comfortable with everything required for a pleasant stay.

The Lodge is a little gem in a good location for visiting local towns and also close to bus stops for visiting various places The property is in excellent condition and is very comfortable and relaxing and is a credit to the owners

Highly recommend this property! Debbie and Nick have thought of everything you could need and so much more! There is easy access to many tourist attractions along with natural beauty, Would definitely return to this little gem.
