A lovely house for large groups of people to stay in. It was very well equipped, we especially liked the table tennis and snooker.

This is a place filled with charm and a fabulous place to host a family and friends birthday celebration. Yes it is showing it's age in places, who wouldn't be after 100s of years, but it has the warmth and comfort one gets from a favourite old pair of shoes. I'd been concerned that it would be a little cold, especially as the weather had turned raRead morether chilly, It wasn't and the kitchen with it's Aga was especially cosy. Every one with us enjoyed the Hall and nobody wanted to leave. Hide

We had a wonderful time at Eggleston Hall for my 80th birthday. Fabulous family party over the weekend and then visits from friends later in the week. It accommodated all ages, adults children and even a grandson! Stunning area to explore and enjoy.

A very enjoyable multi generational ( age range 6 years to 79 years) get together for a special celebration. There was enough space for even a very wet day. Very well equipped. The caterers from the estate cafe provided excellent catering for the evening celebration & there was plenty of interest in the area for the rest of the week.

The house is lovely from the moment you enter through the main entrance. Its a real experience with everything you need to have a great holiday. A home from home with all the grandeur of a character building. The grounds are great and the sun room was a real focal point for us as we looked over the valley, the visiting wild life and domestic animalRead mores. The nearby Eccleston Gardens were a real treat and chatting to the helpful gardening team getting tips, was a bonus. Hide
