Ford and Etal, with its castle, steam railway and nature reserve, is just 13 miles from the doorstep.
After a day of exploring, return to the cottage for some well-earned relaxation. At the entrance to the property, there is a small porch/boot room – perfect for storing coats and muddy boots. The compact kitchen/diner seats four and is equipped with everything you need to prepare a cosy meal, including a gas oven and hob, fridge and freezer, microwave and washing machine. In the lounge, you can enjoy views over the rear garden and across to the Cheviot Hills. Curl up in front of the gas fire and make the most of the TV for a quiet evening in.
