A nice, fairly modern property at a reasonable price. A great location for exploring Northumberland and close to amenities in Amble. The beach at Druridge Bay is just a 30 minute walk away through the country park, that has a cafe. The estate and village as a whole is quiet with a Coop and Boots pharmacy a 10 minuet walk away, the park is even closRead moreer. Unlike other reviews the main road behind the property didn't bother us at all outside in the garden, let alone in the house. Would recommend. Hide

The layout of the house is very nice, bedding and towels nice and clean. Shower in the en suite is very small and nowhere to put soap, shampoo etc. water nice and hot though. 6 mirrors in one bedroom and none in another. Nice garden and nice short walk to the country park. Kitchen sink and fittings could do with a little TLC and a washing up cloth.Read more Benches in dining room a bit hard to sit on for any length of time We had a nice holiday here but with a little bit of thought this could be great. Great location and size. Enclosed garden for dogs and kids. Good off street parking and plenty of seating in lounge. Sky tv is good and beds comfy. However, there were no toilet rolls on arrival, something weve never had in years of cottage holidays. No info pack, small welcome pack or cleaning products. It could be cleaner and no overhead lightingRead more in main bedroom despite a light fitting. There are feather pillows so beware if youre allergic. Would use again but with lower expectations Hide

Very pleasant house and friendly neighbours! Great to have an excellent footpath at the back of the property. A good Co op in the village and highly recommend the Chippy in the village. Only slight problem was the noise from the nearby A Road other than that would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our holiday here but as stated in a previous review the house could do with a little maintenance to return it to what was at one stage probably an exceptional house as opposed to a nice house. It is in a good location , relatively clean apart from a few cobwebs and a dirty drier [ which we decided not to use ] Would we return, possibly.

A good well equipted cottage with ample space for the family. The pictures online are different to how the cottage looks today so would suggest they update them as the current look is more appealing. A great location next with lots to do both in walking distance and a short drive away. Great enclosed garden for dogs
