This property is located close to Eastbourne town centre, in the vibrant and quirky Little Chelsea area,  which has dozens of interesting independent shops, as well as a wide selection of pubs, cafes, and restaurants. To the west of the town, the South Downs National Park boasts some of the south coast’s most beautiful countryside and offers amazing views from Beachy Head which lies a rewarding two-mile cliff-top walk from the edge of town, or alternatively can be reached by bus. Eastbourne itself is the perfect seaside resort for seaside holidays with its wide shingle beaches, the Victorian pier and plenty to amuse the family, including the Sovereign leisure centre and Fort Fun for the little ones.

On arrival at this cottage, guests first come to a small hallway which leads onto the spacious and stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This attractive room has two cosy sofas in the centre of the room, perfectly positioned for guests to enjoy a film on the TV after a long day of sightseeing. A dining table sits in front of the windows which run along one side of the room, whilst the kitchen area runs along the back of the room and offers an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. There is also a cloakroom with WC on the ground floor. Stairs lead from the hall up to the first floor, where guests will find the master bedroom suite, a lovely light room with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room which has a shower cubicle and WC. An additional shower room with shower and WC can also be found on the first floor. A second flight of stairs leads to the top floor where there are two delightful bedrooms: a double and a twin room. Guests should be aware that the stairs in the cottage are somewhat steep in places.

Outside, there is a modestly-sized but pleasant courtyard garden with a table and chairs which make it easy to relax over al fresco drinks. There is restricted roadside parking outside the house subject to availability, for which a permit for one car will be provided.

The location of the cottage was great , close to the shops and seafront. The off street parking was a hassle if you go out for the day and get back when everyone is home from work. The cottage was well placed for travelling by train. The beds were comfortable and we slept like babies, there was a good supply of blankets and clean towels. Certainly Read moreone of the best cottages we have stayed at. Hide

Perfekte Lage, ruhig (ausser Mwen kaum Lrm) und gleichzeitig nah an Zentrum, Strand und Nahverkehr. Saubere Betten und Bden, der Rest nicht ganz perfekt sauber, aber okay. Alles vorhanden; zweckmssig; Handtcher, Plaids, komplette Kche, Salz, Olivenl, Fhn, Wschestnder, Bgeleisen Wasserschaden wegen sich auflsendem Flickwerk in Duschwanne. Das WasserRead more lief bis in die Kche. Notfall Nummer war erreichbar, hat sich gekmmert. (Hoffentlich bald repariert) Zum Glck hat die Whg 2 Du/WC Hide

A lovely bright house which is full of natural light. High ceilings and an interesting layout over 2 floors. We really enjoyed the lounge diner and the large wall-mounted TV. The two large sofas are extremely comfortable and good quality, which is hard to find in most Airbnbs. The kitchenware is plentiful, numerous pots and pans, great plates and bRead moreowls, lots of glasses and mugs. Lovely cutlery. It was enjoyable cooking there. Good appliances. This house is in a great location for accessing some great restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk from the door. An easy walk to the art gallery and sea front. The permits make it straightforward to park and there is also free on street parking not far away. We walked to beachy head from the door which was lovely.

A lovely comfortable interior, but the outside space was disappointingly small. Lots of nice cafes and pubs nearby, ten minutes walk to the park for dog-walking. The parking passes worked well but we often had to park along the street rather than outside the property.

Needs better cleaner! Fridge smelt really bad!! Pans not clean. Bathrooms not properly cleaned and one really stunk and another shower blocked. Kitchen blind broke on one side. Beds were comfortable and bright and airy.

Ideal location. House is lovely and well decorated. We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay here. We used the kitchen which had sufficient equipment for our needs when we ate in. The outside area was disappointing lacking in tlc and cleanliness. We would have used it albeit it small but adequate for a coffee or glass of something.
