Lovely cpttage literally within walking distance of the caves.. Great facilities, roomy and pretty. We loved the story of the conversion and the information book was filled with useful stuff. Also convenient for the surrounding area - Wells, Glastonbury etc. Would definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay here. The house manager was lovely and very welcoming. She responded quickly the one time we had an issue & worked hard to try and fix it. Unfortunately she was not successful and we were without Internet our entire stay...this was compounded by no phone reception in the cottage. The small private garden isn't as described on tRead morehe website. It's down a narrow, slippery path and is not secure - the gate doesn't close. Not ideal for dogs. Other than than a nice weekend trip. Hide

Lovely position and very quiet in spite of being directly behind the pub (which was superb!) and across the road from Wookey Holes main car parkI would think that in high season parking might be a problem? The lady looking after the cottage (Teresa) was so helpful and she was based just along the roadnothing was too much trouble for her..

Good location for exploring the beautiful city of Wells and the surrounding Somerset countryside. There is a wonderful circular walk from Wookey Hole to Ebbor Gorge. Suggest travelling for a restaurant, to Wells -The Fountain Inn, Goodfellows and Rugatinos and also the Burcott Inn at Wookey. All need booking in advance.

The cottage is a lovely size and beautifully finished and extremely well equipped, a real home from home. Lovely touches with a food basket welcome pack with milk in the fridge. Comfy beds and we all slept really well. Apart from that we had an amazing stay. Beautiful house. Hide

Lovely comfortable cottage, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Great location for visiting coast and surrounding area. Although no allocated parking there was plenty of parking on main road and never an issue in the two weeks we were there. Stones throw to the Wookey Hole Inn and the food there is very good.

We loved the cottage and enjoyed our stay, however its not particularly dog friendly due to having no internal doors downstairs. Also please note that the garden is not connected to the property in any way. In fact its a dark, uneven pathway, so it's not easy to let animals out. The walk thru to the garden was like walking thru derelict allotments.Read more Not pleasant at all. Hide
