Cottage was noisy due to its location right on the A6. However, it was a good location for walking. Cottage a bit tired, in need of maintenance and general TLC.

This property is fantastic. So well equipped and very comfy. A real home from home. It was cosy on the very cold snowy evenings with the log fire burning. Its in a great location for some beautiful walks. A mile walk along the canal to a lovely cafe with great coffee. We had such a brilliant family weekend and would highly recommend it you.

This is a perfectly pleasant property. The layout is on many levels which is to be expected with a farm house conversion. An excellent property, well equipped and very clean. As others have noted the property is adjacent to the A6 and it can be a bit noisy with trucks charging past in the early morning - not that we were particularly bothered by this. The property was fine. Unfortunately the location was not. Only feet away from the A6 which is a horribly busy road with fast moving HGV. The Cromford canal walk was great but crossing the A6 was a nightmare with grandchild and a dog so we only did that once. We probably should have done our own research on google earth and the reviews.
