Located in the traditional seaside resort of Shanklin, this cottage is ideally situated to explore and enjoy all this popular holiday destination has to offer. From the wonderful selection of independent shops, restaurants, and pubs in the Old Village to the sandy beach lined with cafes and beach huts along its esplanade. There are many other places to visit on the island too including wonderful walking and cycling routes to explore.

 Enter the lounge of this stylish cottage complete with a cosy wood burner and Smart TV/DVD, it’s a wonderful space to retreat to and reflect on a fun-packed day on the Isle of Wight. Next door is the kitchen which comes with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom with shower over bath and WC completes the ground floor. The first floor, accessed via the cottage-style steps is where all three bedrooms are located. You will find the king-size bedroom at the rear, next is the twin bedroom (which can be made into a super-king-size on request) with the bunk bedroom situated at the end of the hallway.

Head out into the courtyard garden and enjoy the early morning sun with a cup of coffee or some al fresco dining after a full-on day exploring the area.

Great location just a short walk from high street and old village. Parking possible outside the property if you get lucky but is not guaranteed however there are two pay and display car parks near by. Lovely property with enclosed courtyard garden which is very handy for dog owners. Kitchen well equipped and beds very comfortable. There are some grRead moreeat places to eat nearby such as Tommy Bradshaws just around the corner for a great steak, and Fishermans cottage for fresh fish. A Fantastic Break!! Hide

Lovely cottage in a perfect location. We were lucky to park o/s or around the corner with no additional charges considering the central location. Great courtyard/garden spot for our little dachshund Dobby, and the bunk beds bedlinen and glasses all had dachshund print. Made us laugh. Would definitely book again

We had a lovely stay and a great holiday. Beds were comfortable, parking within 2 min walk if you can't park outside the property, 70 for the week which I thought was good value as you can use all council car parks on the island. Everything you need is provided including cleaning materials everything from a kettle to a dishwasher. Highly recommend.Read more Would definitely stay here again. Great house - included everything we needed and more! Fab location. Lovely week away. Try Amici restaurant - best food we found anywhere. Good cocktails at Tommy Bradshaws.
