Located in the heart of Bakewell, the ground floor apartment is just a few strides from its many shops, cafes, restaurants and the famous 19th century Bakewell Pudding bakery. With the River Wye running through the market town, there are plenty of peaceful walks to enjoy in the area. The Peak District has so much to offer for young and old to enjoy, Chatsworth House and Gardens are known as the jewel in the crown for the area. Haddon Hall is a short drive away and oozes history. The Tissington trail, Monsal trail, and High Peak trail are great for walking and sightseeing.

The spacious ground floor apartment provides sociable open plan kitchen/lounge/dining space all on one level. The kitchen area has been fitted with contemporary units and includes everything you should need throughout your stay including large fridge/freezer and washing machine. The spacious dining and lounge area provides, large comfortable sofas, Smart TV and desk with doors leading out into the garden for those lazy summer evenings. The master bedroom with double bed includes fitted wardrobes and also benefits from an en suite bathroom with bath, enclosed shower, sink and WC. The second bedroom, has an additional double bed, each with its own bedside table and lamp. The bathroom provides an enclosed shower, sink and WC.

Outside the property benefits from a large slabbed patio to the front of the property, surrounded by a pretty garden and some seclusion from trees.

A comfortable well-equipped property situated close to the town centre but in a lovely private setting. We enjoyed lots of beautiful walks from here and also a visit to Chatsworth. The owner was easy to contact and very helpful

This is a very spacious and comfortable apartment. It is in a superb central location and has a parking space. I have a slight concern that on making a telephone enquiry to Holiday Cottages I was advised that the property would be wheelchair friendly and sadly it was not. This was our second visit to Rutland Mews and hopefully it won't be our last. As others have mentioned, having your own parking space at the front of the property was a plus point in this busy market town. Both myself and my partner have difficulty walking, so being so close to the town centre (a very short and easy walk) was a bonus. Lovely, cosy and warm apartment. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Plenty of space for 4 adults, 2 good sized double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Great location with the bonus of a parking space. We stayed in this lovely flat it has everything you need and more. It is 5 minutes walk into town where all cafes bars and shops are. The garden is lovely to sit in after a long day walking. the car parking space it just opposite the flat which is very convenient I would highly recommend this property.

Excellent location being only some 5/10 minutes walk from the center of Bakewell with its shops and facilities. . Despite its central location it was quiet with the benefit of a courtyard to enjoy in good weather. The accommodation was well equipped with the added benefit of a designated parking space directly outside. Comfortable house very near to the shops but in a quiet location. Ideal for someone with mobility problems as all on one level. The courtyard garden is very attractive and secluded if you like sitting outside.

Good location with the added benefit of a nominated parking space, very convenient for Bakewell itself, shops and walks by the river. Many places of interest within a few miles drive and great scenery. Accommodation clean, efficient heating, kitchen well equipped, some nice touches included and owner available by phone for any help needed.

We had a wonderful time in Bakewell. The property was in an excellent location and the parking space was a huge bonus. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this property as a lovely base to explore the Peak District.

Excellent location in a lovely town. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped and the host was very helpful. Lots of choice of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs within easy walking distance. Keep and eye out for the guy on the market selling olives, garlic etc., they were delicious. We would certainly revisit this delightful property.
