The property is set in an elevated position in Y Felinheli, near the royal town of Caernarfon. Here you can explore the narrow streets and waterfront development with its shops, restaurants, cinema, theatre and galleries. Lloft - café bar is a 6 minute walk where dogs are also welcome (opening times vary), you will also find a very good chip shop and local Chinese all within a 5 minute walk Visit the 13th century castle, take a trip on a steam train with the Welsh Highland Railway, or cruise on the Menai Straits. Visit Greenwood adventure park for a day of family fun full of action and excitement. Zip World is a 20 minute drive where you can ride one of the worlds fastest zip lines soaring up to 100mph. Bangor is also nearby and has great National Trust sites to visit (Plas Newydd) is a favourite, as is the pretty harbour town of Beaumaris on Isle of Anglesey and Snowdonia National Park.
Full of character, the beautifully restored cottage has exposed beams and period features aplenty, and has nautical decor throughout to reflect the surrounding area. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a feature fireplace and a wood burner effect electric fire, as well as a TV and DVD, CD and iPod dock. In the kitchen area you’ll find an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, and there’s a tumble dryer in the utility room. Relax in the conservatory and take in the incredible coastal views. The cottage has two bedrooms - one double with an en-suite shower and WC and one bunk bedroom - and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.
Heading outside you’ll find a terrace with a BBQ and garden furniture, where you can relax and look out over the sea with a glass of wine or enjoy an al fresco dinner.
