These include river fishing, horse riding, golfing and mountain bike hire. For culture, entertainment, shopping and night life, take a trip over to the ever-up-and-coming city Newcastle-upon-Tyne. For provisions, good local pubs and restaurants, take a trip Hexham or Corbridge, which are close to Stocksfield.

On arrival into the courtyard you will head through the archway and heading up stairs to the entrance of Granary. Off the hallway you will soon encounter the spacious open plan lounge and kitchen/ dining area with TV/DVD for relaxing with at the end of a long day of exploration. There is also a dining table in the room, with seating for four guests. The kitchen includes all the facilities you would need for a self-catering break including an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, and a microwave. The washing machine and tumble dryer is in a handy utility room nearby. All on one upper level you will find three bedrooms – one double, one single, and one twin. The bathroom containing both a bath, a shower cubicle and WC.
