Escape to this characterful lodge on a working farm in the peaceful village of Beeston. This quaint one bedroom retreat is the ideal accommodation option for couples in search of a stylish cottage to call home, a perfect base for making memories in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. During the day, stroll through the impressive ruins at Castle Acre Priory (9 miles), an 11th-century Cluniac monastery. Alternatively, explore the interlinked maze of ponds, waterways and bridges at Gooderstone Water Gardens (15 miles) or the unspoilt area of Holkham (20 miles) where you can walk the beaches or nature trails, visit the bird hides, and maybe treat yourself to something sweet in the cafe. In the evening, come home to relax with a glass of wine on the cottage’s pretty patio.

Park in your private parking spot and head into your charming lodge. Once inside and you’ll be welcomed by open-plan accommodation with beautiful exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. Take a moment to relax in the comfortable lounge and appreciate the peace and tranquility of the countryside before you head to the farmhouse-style kitchen area to rustle up a meal. On balmy summer evenings, dine or relax in the pretty patio area or enjoy countryside views from the kitchen table. Head back to the lounge area to relax by the wood burner with a book and a glass of wine, or just to enjoy a conversation. At the end of the day, take the staircase up to the mezzanine level, where you’ll find a king-size bedroom that overlooks the lounge. Completing the layout you’ll find a shower room on the ground floor (please note the shower room has a low ceiling).

Step outside and you’ll find a pretty enclosed rear garden and a patio – the perfect place for morning coffee or a joyful al fresco diners.
