A lovely, comfortable and well equipped cottage in a quiet rural and stunning location. Lots of lovely thoughtful extras including a little shop with honesty box. A very well presented holiday cottage where we could not fault anything. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

The cottage was lovely. It was really clean and well kitted out. Well situated to access loads of activities for a young family only 15-20 min drive away. The addition of an onsite honesty-box shop for some small essentials and treats was also a really thoughtful addition. The information book had a lot of detail about the history of the place, whiRead morech was fascinating to read too. Hide

Beautifully presented cottage, fully equipped with modern appliances. This was our second visit and it was just as good as the first. We use 3 of the cottages for a family get-together, meeting up in the largest property with our own food for meal times. It is a great quiet place for meeting up and spending time together, sharing the hot tub from oRead morene of the cottages. Hide

We enjoyed our visit to the area around Durban despite unfortunately some inclement weather but hey, it was mid-sept. The cottage was very comfortable and gave us a good base as a location to set off from everyday. We saw some lovely sunrise sky on a couple of days as we had our breakfast.

Our second stay in this beautiful cottage, a true home from home. Perfect for exploring Weardale, Northumberland and County Durham. Surrounded by lovely views, unfortunately, the Northern Lights didn't show up until the day we came home, but we'll be back to try and catch them again.
