This beautiful historic house is an ideal family holiday home located in a beautiful and peaceful area of Scotland with spectacular views and plenty of activities to keep the whole family occupied. This fantastic, picturesque area offers a host of great activities including walking, sailing, mountain biking, fishing and winter sports. There are well marked cycle paths and some lovely deserted beaches to enjoy a walk along.  The towns of Oban and Fort William are easily accessible and offer a variety of pubs and restaurants. Highlights of the area include the Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary, ferry trips to the historic islands of Mull, Staffa and Iona, and the West Highland Jacobite Steam Railway, which crosses the viaduct made famous in the Harry Potter films, on its way to Mallaig. Younger members of the family can let off steam in some of the great soft play centres in Oban. You can also enjoy the fresh Scottish air and go hillwalking as this property is perfectly situated close to Glencoe and Ben Nevis, as well as Loch Linnhe and Loch Leven, with plentiful wildlife.

This unique beautiful house, dating back to 1840, consists of three residences, this being the largest. On entering the main house you will find yourself in the cosy and traditional lounge. Throughout the house you will find a varied collection of books and unusual decorative, antique and period items, several being of local and historic relevance and interest, including examples of specialist taxidermy. The lounge with TV and DVD is a wonderfully homely and spacious room. You will also find a charming conservatory with lovely views, which serves both as a stylish dining room and a comfy additional lounge, making it perfect for afternoon tea. Heading into the galley kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is also a double bedroom on the ground floor, which can be made up as a twin on request, and which has an en-suite shower room. There is also a ground-floor WC. Heading upstairs you will find two further bedrooms, each containing a double and single bed. There is also a bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. The residence is notably homely and also features occasional use by original clan-linked visitors. Please note this property is linked via a connecting door in one of the triple rooms with property 28686.

Stepping out from the conservatory onto the patio, you can relax in the pretty garden which is furnished with table and chairs. The garden and extensive grounds are shared with the two other properties on-site, and offer beautiful rand peaceful scenery.
