Description

Manor Cottage is a pretty, tastefully furnished, private cottage, located next to the owners’ residence. Situated at the end of a private lane, just a few miles from Portreath and Porthtowan, it has an idyllic secluded cottage garden.  Surrounded by peaceful countryside with views to St Agnes, the lovely suntrap garden has furniture and barbecue provided. Situated in the North Country area of Cornwall on the Mineral Tramway route, the property is located in a National Heritage site. It is the perfect location for walkers and families who want to get away from it all!

GROUND FLOOR:
Farmhouse style kitchen: Large electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave, air fryer, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, dining table and chairs, and beamed ceiling.
Lounge: TV, freeview, two large settees, DVD player, electric fire.
Bedroom 1: King size bed, chest of drawers, bedside unit(s), wardrobe, TV with Freeview and DVD.
Bathroom: Bath with shower over, bidet, heated towel rail, wash basin and WC.

FIRST FLOOR:
Large open plan room: Two double beds (which can be separated by a curtain), beamed ceilings, quirkily decorated wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside units, TV, Freeview.

Parking: Parking for  up to 3 cars outside

Power and Heat: Utilities included in rent; electric central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Pillows and duvets included, bed linen and towels also provided.

The Manor cottage is a beautiful little home away from home. It is superbly clean, well equipped kitchen and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. The beds are very comfy, and the decoration is beautiful. It is located in a great spot for exploring the southern parts of Cornwall, and is close to a supermarket. The owner was lovely and very responsive, and gave us a lovely welcome with treats and flowers waiting for us when we arrived. It is an excellent place for families, and we would be happy to come back.

Location

Portreath is a small village centred on the harbour and large beach with all the local amenities you could wish for nearby including a local supermarket, surf/beach shops, Post Office, bakery, tearoom and several pubs serving fantastic local cuisine.

The pretty, sandy beach here is popular with families and surfers alike, as like many of the beaches on the north Cornish coast, this beach offers good surfing conditions. Portreath also featured in the Marine Conservation Society Good Beach Guide Recommended 2014 for its excellent water quality. Please note dogs are welcome on this beach expect between Easter- October each year.
