Llion Pughe

Manager, Cemaes Office

"I'm passionate about Wales and proud to be promoting the country bilingually to the world."

♥ The local landscape, proud history, the Welsh language and culture.

About Llion

As the co-founder of Best of Wales, I’ve worked for the company since it was established in 2009. I'm passionate about Wales and proud to be promoting the country bilingually to the world. I live with my wife, daughter and son on the family farm near Machynlleth in Mid Wales, where one of Best of Wales’ offices is also located, within a renovated barn. My interests include rugby, walking, farming and of course - going on the occasional holiday with the family to different parts of Wales. Locally, we’re lucky to be close to beautiful market towns such as Machynlleth and Dolgellau with a great range of cafes and restaurants. The coast isn’t far either and trips to Aberdyfi or Aberystwyth on the weekend are always popular options!

Gareth Mahoney

"On a personal level I love to be outdoors as much as possible."

♥ The water taxi from the centre of Cardiff down to the Bay is a great way to see the city.

About Gareth

From the border in the East to the Irish sea in the West my area includes the mountainous Brecon Beacons , the wonderful coast of West Wales and Cardiff , the Capital city. This mix of different types of property, locations, settings and of course owners is very diverse and extremely interesting. On a personal level I love to be outdoors as much as possible and especially enjoy cycling , running and following the mighty Pontypridd RFC.

Lesley Crowther

Senior Property Manager based in Newtown

"Being a holiday cottage owner as well as a recruiter gives me a wide perspective on the business."

♥ Montgomery - a border delight for gastronomists, historians and country lovers!

About Lesley

I primarily cover the Mid-Wales area, the beautiful, rolling countryside of Powys with hills, lakes and waterfalls stretching from the Clwydian Hills in the north down to the Brecon Beacons National Park in the south and as far west as the south eastern edge of the Snowdonia National Park. I am particularly fond of the panoramic views around Llyn Clwedog and from Montgomery Castle, overlooking the Welsh Marches. I have my own 17th century timber-framed cottage in Montgomery, which I have let through Wales Cottage Holidays for over 10 years. Being a holiday cottage owner as well as a recruiter gives me a wide perspective on the business.

“The area which I cover stretches along the West Wales coastline from Tywyn to Cardigan and includes several fantastic and unique coastal towns and villages along the way…”

♥ Dolphin spotting whilst sat on the sun terrace of the Glengower Hotel, Aberystwyth

About Mark

The area which I cover stretches along the West Wales coastline from Tywyn to Cardigan and includes several fantastic and unique coastal towns and villages along the way such as Newquay, Aberaeron and Aberystwyth - where I am currently based. Originally from the West Midlands I moved to Aberystwyth in 2008 to complete a law degree at the university, and as many before me I found the prospect of leaving my new seaside home far too daunting!

Jane Grant

Property Manager based in Newtown

"As a former holidaymaker in Abersoch for many years as a child, I am now lucky enough to live and raise my own family on the Llyn Peninsula."

♥ Early evening barbecuing on Llanbedrog beach with friends and family.

About Jane

As a former holidaymaker in Abersoch for many years as a child, I am now lucky enough to live and raise my own family on the Llyn Peninsula. My first love is for the fabulous beaches, coves and coastline of the Llyn, from the bustling Abersoch beach with watersports and cafes, to lazy days at beach hut on the family filled Llanbedrog beach and to the peace of the quieter hideaway coves of Porth Iago and Porth Ysgaden. The many pretty seaside villages offer places to eat from traditional fish and chips through to fine dining and a wide range of events from outdoor theatre, to historic Welsh castles to seasonal sandcastle competitions. Whatever the weather, whatever the season, there is always somewhere new to explore and something new to do!
