Set behind the Mill House, Mill House Lodge is a lovely, bright and airy property with its own garden and with footpaths from the doorstep. The front door opens into the open plan living room and is double height into the eaves, with large windows either side of the front door and a well equipped fitted kitchen area to the rear with wooden floors throughout. There are two bedrooms and a shower room making this a perfect choice for family holidays with Howletts Wildlife Park less than 1.5 miles from The Mill House.  With a fully enclosed garden and outdoor seating there is a choice of where to relax after a day out exploring the local area and there is a small garden room with garden chairs which can be used for soaking up the sun and is useful storage for your own bicycles. Littlebourne itself is a well located village, complete with village store, pub and post office, just 4 miles from Canterbury.  Pub: 0.5 miles  Shop: 0.5 miles  Coast: 12 miles

We love this property because of its great location on the edge of the village and with walking from the doorstep.

The property is on a single level and the entrance is to the rear of the property.

Open plan kitchen/dining/living room: with a large sofa, armchair, coffee table, smart TV, CD player.  Kitchen:  is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a coffee machine with milk frother.  Dining: there is a round dining table and seating for 4 guests

Out and About:

Canterbury is 4 miles away with great shopping, lots of restaurants, the Marlowe Theatre and its famous Cathedral.  The Goods Shed near Canterbury West station is a must, with its excellent local produce market and fine restaurant. 
The seaside towns of Whitstable (12 miles)  and the old quaint town of Sandwich, with the famous Royal St. George Golf Course, is 10 miles. Visit Wildwood Trust, just a 16 minute drive, where you can meet British wildlife past and present.  Hythe Bay is 37 minutes and great for watersports, with sailing, paddle boarding and canoeing.  Sea fishing from nearby Whitstable or Faversham. New Romney with its range of sandy beaches is perfect for a day trip through old smuggling villages on the marsh or cycling through unique habitats for bird life.



Excellent property to take a dog - secure garden, hardwood floors and public footpaths nearby. Two great pubs within easy walking distance. Very relaxing break.

Excellent location with plenty of walks for both 2 and 4 legs! Just as well as the fuel crisis limited any touring of the area. However there is a good bus service to Canterbury with only a 15 minute walk from the property. The local shop is very well stocked for most needs with some excellent meals available at the local pubs - all within walking distance. An enclosed garden was very welcome for the dog. Recommended!
