Cottages near Norfolk Coast AONB

This beautiful, diverse and scientifically important Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty stretches from Old Hunstanton in the far west of the county, along the coast all the way to Bacton in the east. Here it meets the Norfolk Broads and the newest member to the National Park family.

Norfolk is a county full of natural beauty but this particular stretch of coastline, recognised as an AONB in 1968 is the stunning result of environmental influences acting over millennia. The North Norfolk heritage coast running from Old Hunstanton to Weyborne is where the real beauty lies, the scenery flows from colourful cliffs, mud flats, salt marshes and reed beds to dunes, shingle banks and grazing marshes; a linea of habitats forming the North Norfolk Heritage Coast and home to a varied abundance of flora, fauna and bird life.

Take the CoastHopper (a bus service along the coast road), follow the Coast Path on foot, or cycle along winding lanes; however you choose to enjoy this area of Norfolk you will not be disappointed. The pretty flint villages and snuggled market towns, against a backdrop of vast open skies and expanding flat lands, deliver breathtaking vistas to you everyday.

Below we have carefully selected a fine portfolio of properties, ranging from traditional fisherman cottages to large, modern converted barns and all perfectly located to offer you and your loved ones the ideal base from which to venture out and make the most of this unique and treasured landscape. Not convinced yet? Well, we have properties in many of the UK's other AONB's or you can get in touch with us and we'll hunt out the perfect cottage break for you.
