Reviews

We had a wonderful weeks stay at Y Stabl near Abersoch. So lovely to arrive at a holiday rental and be greeted with a bottle of bubbly. The house was very homely, with lots of store cupboard provisions to use if needed - a really generous touch. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of glasses plates cutlery. The beds were very comfortable with good quality linen. The garden/field at the back of the property was perfect for ball games and for the dog to run around.

Ms J,

The main surfaces, bathrooms, kitchen etc were clean but the interior paintwork is dirty, deteriorated and stained in places. The front door was dirty. We kept finding woodlice inside. The bench in the entrance by the front door is wobbly /needs fixing. Property generally needs some tlc /upgrading. It is a lot more shabby than it looks in the photos on the website. The pre-arrival instructions could be improved in places: confusing info about who to contact if we had any problems (2 different names /numbers in separate places). Rang and texted one of them but received no reply; directions not easily readable on PDF. The best points about it are: the wood burning stove which is very efficient (though we didn't find the wood that had been left in the property until after we had bought our own, as it was in a cupboard which had a tv on top - not obvious!), the kitchen is well stocked; the large grassy area outside. However, overall, we felt is was not good value for money compared with other holiday homes we've previously stayed in, sorry.

Ms Sarah W,
