Reviews

Best cottage we have stayed at for our purposes. Location fantastic, and quiet. Walking great. Comfort and equipment all you could wish for. Very spacious - all the rooms a generous size, with three bathrooms to boot!.

Mr W,

wonderful break in Yorkshire, have stayed in this property before and got a warm welcome from the owners again, the cottage is first class, got everything you would want and the welcome pack was fantastic, we'll certainly return.

Mr P,

Loveley property in an excellent location

Mr B,

The cottage is detached. Right next to the moor with a very nice and big backjard. I was surpriced that this was not very clear from the pictures since it is a big big unique selling point. We were very happy here and I wish we could have stayed longer.

Mr S,

Lovely location and property. Spacious, with all the equipment you’ll need for a comfy stay. Cosy in the colder months, and, of course, lovely in summer. Highly recommended!

Mr C,

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the cottage. It was spacious, comfortable and very well appointed. Situated in a little hamlet, nestled in the dip of the moors it provided a perfect venue to see lots of wildlife. We watched a barn owl flying and catching prey on 5 of the evenings, saw a stoat, bat and rabbits. A short walk took you to the top of the dip where we saw lapwings with a chick, heard curlews and lots of other birds. you could see Fylingdales and across the moors. The nearby village of Lealhom was worth a visit with free parking, good beer at the Board Inn, a well stocked village shop and 2 cafes. The cottage was convenient for visiting Whitby, Sandsend, Saltburn by the Sea and along the coast. A highly recommended cottage!

Mrs T,

Cannot fault the cottage, if you love peace and quiet it is ideal.Had everything we needed. Information from Original Cottages was spot on.
