It has been renovated and presented to a high standard, yet retaining lots of charm and character. The cottage is situated in the pretty village of Wass and is surrounded by the picturesque hilly and wooded countryside of the North York Moors National Park.  York is just a half hours drive away or there is a regular bus service. Sutton Bank with the famous White Horse and truly breath taking views over The Vale Of York is just a few minute drive.

Why not visit Thirsk famous for horse racing and The World of James Herriot Museum or the historic Byland Abbey.

The property is located close to Helmsley with its Famers Artisan Market, shops, cafes and restaurants. Wander around the walled garden or visit the castle to see a glimpse of times gone by.  There is a  miniature steam railway in Gilling East or why not enjoy a lovely meal at The Fairfax Arms.  If you like food Malton, “Food capital of Yorkshire” is but a short drive away.  The North York Moors is close by, all in all there is so much to do you’ll definitely need to return to Yorkshire.
