Reviews

Three generations of our family have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location and very well equipped with plenty of games for the grandchildren and everything in the kitchen we could need. Rhubarb was thrilled to have a bed and bowl provided and a toy to play with!! A great family house that made relaxing easy! Thank you for all the Dorset goodies.

Past Customer,

We had a lovely family holiday based at Homelands. The views are spectacular and we like how dog friendly it is ( Teddy our cavapoo enjoyed himself enormously ) The large TV room , modern walk in showers and Edwardian features are all great., and added to our enjoyment. This is probably our 10th stay in Studland, and we very much hope to be back.

Past Customer,

A repeat visit to Homelands which we thoroughly enjoyed, Its a wonderful house for our extended family - children and toddler. Thanks for the lovely touches you include.

Past Customer,

Our third Summer stay at this lovely property. It is ideal for a multi generational family, plenty of space and lots of facilities, including games room with pool table. We particularly like the fact that everyone has their own bathroom, which seems difficult to find when looking for a holiday let for 6 adults and 2 children. The location of Homelands couldn’t be better. Walking distance to the beach and local shop, which seems to sell anything you may need! The Purbeck breezer bus stops are nearby which can take you either into Swanage or Bournemouth. So much to do and see in the area and Homelands is the perfect base.

Mrs R,

Homelands really is that little piece of paradise , somewhere to totally relax and recharge! Such a beautiful place, being fully equipped with everything needed for a perfect holiday stay. Plenty of space for a large family holiday together, whilst also allowing for that space to do your own thing too. Lots of gorgeous rooms , tastefully decorated in coastal colours with the pool room, endless games and bbq ensuring time together, making precious memories. Stunning scenery over the hills ,from the master bedroom whilst only a short walk to sandy beaches and scenic cliff views. Harry's rock and the Obelisk were about a mile away, with Dudle Door and Lulworth Cove only a short drive. So much to do in the area and so many places to visit, we will definitely be back!

Past Customer,

Down here for a wedding. What a great place to stay. Great facilities , very comfortable bed and a fabulous setting. Thank you for your hospitality, we will be back !!

Past Customer,

A lovely weekend with friends in this house. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with plenty to pass the time - we loved playing pool, completing puzzles and getting competitive with the selection of board games., A BBQ in he garden was also a particular highlight. We enjoyed the stunning local walks and spectacular scenery. A visit to the local pub was great and the meal at Shell Bay was one of the nicest we've ever had. All in all, the perfect time away ( especially with a Lincoln city away win at Plymouth !! )We'll be back hopefully.

Past Customer,

Lovely restored house with some great new additions in stunning location. Warm and comfortable on cold days. Thanks for a great stay.

Past Customer,

We visited for a long weekend with friends and family. The house is incredible with lots of large spaces for groups and plenty to do - inside and out! The views from the house are beautiful and can be enjoyed from most rooms in the house. The local village has a great shop and traditional pub, which we enjoyed visiting. Nigel and Anne have put so much thought into creating relaxing spaces, lovely interiors and providing plenty of entertainment - games , puzzles and pool. There are lots of lovely local walks for all levels of fitness and the secluded beaches are very peaceful. Thank you for such an amazing stay - we loved it!

Past Customer,

Wonderful space for all of the family to both be apart enjoying individual 'things' and yet lovely dining and kitchen area and downstairs room for us all to enjoy each others company. It's been a wonderful break and we have all enjoyed staying here and of course this very beautiful area. Thank you for your hospitality and all the facilities, games room etc

Past Customer,

Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful house. We had a fabulous wider family Christmas reunion, including a wonderful walk on Middle beach , and a full on Christmas dinner. The house is spacious, cosy and well stocked and we all had an amazing time. Thank you

Past Customer,

This is the second time we have stayed in this beautiful house, and the 8th time in Studland. It is such a stunning location, and the location of the house is ideal for dog walks through the heath and lovely trips down to the beach. Such a beautiful house.

Past Customer,

The lock on the front door broke, the pool table was warped (and we specifically booked a cottage with a games room), no wok, potato peeler awful. The front of the property wasn’t appealing but the inside was well decorated and good size rooms.
