Description

Fourwinds is a superb refurbishment of a traditional bungalow into a stylish, contemporary property in an elevated position with far-reaching views of the sea and coastline at Gwbert-on-Sea, a small village near Cardigan, on the West Wales Coast. This is an ideal location for coastal walking, watersports and sealife spotting – with a wide range of sea birds, seals and dolphins to be spotted from land or boat.

Fourwinds is single storey, suitable for the less able, and benefits from full central heating, WiFi, driveway parking and an enclosed garden.

Entrance Hall: with space for coats and shoes.

Living Room: an open plan space, with three distinct areas for cooking, eating and relaxing; sofas and armchairs for 8 guests with TV, dining table and eight chairs, and a smart fittedkitchen incorporating electric oven and ceramic hob with extractor hood over, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and traditional larder storage.

Garden Room: off the living room, with a couple of easy chairs and access out onto the steps leading down to the garden, with wonderful views.

Bedroom 1: a double bedroom with TV and sea view.

Bedroom 2: a double bedroom with sea view and en suite shower room: shower cubicle, WC, basin.

Bedrooms 3 & 4: two chic twin bedrooms.

Family Bathroom: bath with shower over, WC, basin.

Outside: Enclosed gardens with garden furniture and sea views. Outdoor tap and hose for washing bikes and beach gear.

Parking: on the driveway for two cars in tandem, with gates to enclose the garden.

Plenty to see and do for all ages and tastes. A short walk along the Coastal Path takes you to a little sandy cove. 3.5 miles to the stunning Mwnt beach and its tiny historic Church. Several lovely little beaches along this impressive, rocky coastline; at low tide it is possible to walk to Poppit Sands, or it is a short drive away. The village has two hotels each with restaurant and bar open to non-residents and one with spa facilities. Boat trips and jetski rides can be arranged locally. Cardigan Golf Club and Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park, overlooking Cardigan Island nature reserve a short distance off-shore, are both within walking distance, less than half a mile away. Cardigan, 3 miles away, has a full range of facilities, a Performing Arts Theatre, cinema and music events, and a wonderful Castle to explore. Just a little further afield are the Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran Castle (National Trust), Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber and Castell Henllys reconstructed Iron Age Hill Fort. Walk a section of the Wales Coastal Path, or simply sit back and relax in the garden, enjoying the wonderful views.
