Reviews

We are regular travellers and would rate this place as one of the nicest, best-located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was clean, full of character, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was in close distance to all the sites we wanted to see. The owners were so kind and attentive and made us feel really welcome. We had an amazing time at their beautiful home and would love to visit again in the future. Thank you for everything!

Mrs R,

Thank you for such a lovely stay, just what we all needed. We have had a lovely week and have been lucky with the weather too. The scenery is just breath talking and we had a lovely afternoon at New Quay beach. Especially enjoyed the Butterfly House. Had a lovely walk yesterday at Hafod. All the best.

Lovely stay here, the owners couldn't do enough for us. Adjusted the heating for our son, brought games out and recommended fabulous places. Little Italy in Aberystwyth is a must try! Fantastic weekend with perfect weather, and we got engaged in the living room. So won't forget this place anytime soon!

Past Customer,

Lovely stay in a beautiful and peaceful location. The owners were great hosts - nothing is too much trouble. Enjoyed visiting Aberystwyth, New Quay beach and Devils Bridge. We will definitely be back!

Past Customer,

Absolutely wow! Tynddol Isaf is an absolutely beautiful place to stay, nestled in the most rugged and natural Welsh landscape - it took our breath away. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful and gave us some priceless pointers of things to do locally. The property is lovely, everything you could hope and wish for is provided and it really did feel like a home from home - even the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The beautiful River Ystwyth flows alongside the property and had endless fun having "conversations" with the Sheep and Cows that were in the neighbouring fields! We managed to do all we wanted to - Devils Bridge, Fish and Chips in Aberystwyth, the Four Waterfalls, The Butterfly Farm and last but not least climbed all the way to the top of Pen Y Fan. If I could recommend anything, go do the Hafod Estate walks that are only 15 minutes from Tynddol Isaf, some of the most breath-taking walks we have ever done and the most incredible scenery. All in all, the most wonderous of stays, the loveliest of hosts and we will definitely look to come back again.

Mr P,

We had a lovely holiday in a very comfortable and clean holiday cottage in the middle of the Welsh mountains. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing week.

Miss Yvonne R,

We had a great time, beautiful scenery, great walks with amazing weather. Very remote and quiet.

Miss Jayne G,

The cottage was a credit to its owners, Moyra and Mark. It is located in a stunning position, out of the way and ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. The booking process was easy and was supported throughout up until the day before the visit. In relation to the cottage it has everything you would need - home from home. We passed on our thanks to Mark personally.

Mr Bob C,
