Description
Cae’r Mynach Cottage is a comfortable, deceptively spacious cottage adjoining the owners’ farmhouse on the farmyard in a remote location six miles south west of Builth Wells. Guests are welcome to explore the farm which is nestled into the hillside, surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside. The cottage has some lovely original beams and a wood burning stove in an impressive stone fireplace, as well as oil-fired central heating throughout.

Kitchen Diner: with wooden base units and open shelving, electric oven and hob, tall fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine; dining table and six chairs.
Sitting Room: a spacious room with wood burning stove, three piece suite, pouffe, tub chair, flat screen FreeSat TV and DVD player; WiFi.
Shower Room: with walk-in shower enclosure, WC, basin, airing/storage cupboard.
There is a traditional wooden latched door at the bottom of the staircase, which rises from the sitting room. On the first floor are three bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: with double bed and dark wood bedroom suite.
Bedroom 2: with twin beds.
Bedroom 3: a second double bedroom.
Outside: to the front of the cottage is a large enclosed patio area with garden furniture.
Play Area: Play area available for use children must be supervised at all times
Parking: immediately outside the enclosed patio area to the front.
Some mobile networks patchy; very good EE signal.
The Eppynt Way, an expansive footpath and mountain bike route spans 50 miles and runs only 300 yards from the front door of the cottage. Builth Wells is home to the Royal Welsh Showground. Nearby attractions include the National Cycle Museum in Llandrindod Wells, Abbeycwmhir hall, gardens and museum, and within easy driving distance are the reservoirs of the Elan Valley Estate, Red Kite Feeding Station at Rhayader, and excellent walking in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
