Description

Cwtch is a lovely little Glamping Pod in a peaceful rural setting on a small site with excellent quality shared facilities. If you fancy a few nights' glamping, with everything there ready for you, a proper bed and a roof over your head, then this is just the place!

Cwtch is a purpose built wooden 'tent', with small decked space to the front, overlooking open countryside and fishing lake. The one-room accommodation includes a double bed, oil-filled electric radiator, wall-mounted Freeview TV and a small worktop and storage area with kettle, toaster, toastie sandwich maker, microwave, mini fridge, crockery, cutlery, mugs and glasses. A folding table and two chairs are also provided. Shared facilities just a few metres away include a washing up room, with hot and cold running water, and shower/toilet block with WCs, washbasins and coin-operated shower cubicles.

Cwtch is situated on the small glamping/caravan/lodge site at Spring Rock Fishery, where stocked lakes are available for coarse fishing (Carp); if you wish to fish, please book in advance to ensure a peg is available. This quiet site currently has one lodge, one pod and pitches for 4 or 5 caravans. Spring Rock is situated in the hamlet of Llandegley, in unspoilt Radnorshire countryside, a perfect place to relax, unwind, explore the wide and wild open spaces and the wonderful starry dark skies at night. Plenty of excellent walking and cycling in the area.  Local attractions include Abbey Cwm Hir hall and gardens, National Cycle Museum at Llandrindod Wells, Judges' Lodgings at Presteigne; it is 12 miles to the Red Kite Feeding Station at Rhayader, with the Elan Valley just a little further on.
