Enjoy panoramic views across to the sea from the large balcony, or take a stroll down to the harbour and pebble beach with its shops, cafes, pub and restaurant. Lligwy beach is 1 mile away, Red Wharf Bay 3 miles and Beaumaris, with its castle, 12 miles.  The Snowdonia National Park is a short drive away, approximately 15 miles.

"Sample the homemade cakes at Ann's Pantry, right by the beach, with its outside seating area within the walled garden and cute little decorated BBQ shed" – Jacky our north Wales property manager

The kitchen diner:  has a pine table with farmhouse chairs. The large kitchen has plenty of storage and includes a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of work surfaces. There is a separate utility room adjoining the owners accommodation, with shared use of a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bedroom 3: is a double room which is accessed through a room with a single bed.

Bathroom: has a bath and a separate shower cubicle.

Moelfre itself is one of Anglesey's prettiest villages and has an interesting maritime history with a memorial to the shipwreck of the Royal Charter, and a famous lifeboat station. The Anglesey Coast Path is stunning in this section and there are many popular circular walks with information readily available locally. The nearby beaches are some of Anglesey's best, whether you are looking for sunbathing or a beach for watersports of all kinds. Angling is also popular along this section of coastline, not forgetting crabbing and rock pooling for the kids! Dolphins can often be spotted of the coast as well. The Anglesey Sea Zoo, the National Trust's Plas Newydd, Beaumaris Castle, Gaol and the RSPB reserve at South Stack are all within a short drive.

Tyn Coed is a good base for our multigenerational family holiday, with very close proximity to great beaches.
