Description
One of two single storey cottages (see Y Beudy WAG430) very pleasantly converted from a former farm building near the owners farmhouse and conveniently situated between the beaches of Anglesey and the mountains of Snowdonia.3 miles from both Port Dinorwig (Y Felinheli) and Bangor, 5 miles from Caernarfon and the same distance from Llanberis.
Ysgubor is decorated and furnished to a good standard with an open-plan fitted kitchen/diner and lounge. The sitting area is comfortably furnished with leather style sofas, a woodburner and Freeview TV/DVD, whilst the fitted kitchen includes a washing machine and table and chairs.There are two good sized bedrooms; a nicely furnished double, and a twin with a small TV. The bathroom has a separate shower cubicle. Oil-fired central heating under owner's control. There is a sunny open patio with garden furniture and stunning views.
Ysgubor is in a great position for exploring some of the best North Wales has to offer. The mountains are a short drive away for all sorts of outdoor activities, mountain walking, climbing and mountain biking. Plas Menai National Watersports centre is 2 miles away offering a variety of water sport activities. The fantastic coast of Anglesey is within easy reach for beaches and walking on the Wales Coast Path. The lovely walled town of Caernarfon has its famous castle, the Welsh Highland Railway and narrow streets with shops and cafes selling local produce. The university town of Bangor has a variety of shops and cafes, a public swimming pool and new theatre/cinema.
